A Post-Doctoral position is immediately available to study the molecular mechanisms by which heat shock proteins regulate inflammation and endothelial barrier function in Acute Lung Injury (ALI) and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). Prior experience with murine models of ALI, PAH, live cell microscopy, protein chemistry and endothelial cell biology is desirable. Position and salary is commensurate with experience. This position is initially offered for one year with the possibility of extending the appointment for up to four years, based on performance. Opportunities for advancement of exceptional Fellows to a Junior Faculty position are available. The successful applicant will join a well-funded laboratory of six investigators with access to state of the art equipment and core facilities.
