Job Description: Postdoctoral position available in the Laboratory of Environmental Health NanoSciences (LEHNS) of Professor Philip Demokritou, located at the Center for Nanotechnology and Nanotoxicology in the Department of Environmental Health at Harvard School of Public Health, Boston MA. The lab is focused among others on the applications and implications of nanomaterials, and environmental nanotechnology applications for pathogen inactivation.

The successful candidate will be involved in various projects studying the nano-bio interactions, nanoparticle bacteria interactions and the prevention of infectious diseases using engineering interventions. He/She will also be in charge of the microbiology lab by ensuring safety procedures/protocols, procurements, overlooking day-to-day operations and maintaining the various bacteria lines.
Minimum Skills Requirements: Microbiology/Aerobiology analytical techniques, Mammalian cell culture, fluorescent microscopy, live cell imaging, and electron microscopy are highly desired.
