  • Event: Life Sciences Symposium On: Recent Developments in Brain-Machine Interface Control Turning Thought into Action

    Dr. Hatsopoulos’s laboratory work has recently proved that electrical signals from the brain can be decoded so that paralyzed patients can control devices, such as prosthetic limbs, to better interact with the world. His work is now focused on improving the decoding algorithms as well as on augmenting these systems with sensory feedback.
